Study trip to Estonia and Finland for the members of the Tech Revolution network.
The challenge
Tech Revolution is an EU funded network made up of 7 European cities from destinations including Spain, Greece and the Netherlands. All of the cities involved are establishing tech hubs and support programmes to grow their digital business base.
Barnsley Digital Media Centre came to us to assist with the planning and coordination of a study trip to Estonia and Finland for the delegations from those cities.

The outcome
The international study trip started with 2 days in Tallinn, Estonia and then continued for another 2 days in Helsinki, Finland.
We worked closely with the client to finalise the agenda, which included securing speakers and arranging tours around local places of interest. We were also responsible for ensuring the smooth set-up and running of daily workshops and activities.
In addition, as part of the programme, we coordinated evening networking meals for the group. We selected traditional local restaurants and picked delicious, eclectic menus to give delegates a real flavour of the destinations.
We also handled delegate management to include pre-event briefing, daily updates, onsite support and on the ground transport, which was essential with such a packed programme.
The event was a massive success and plans are already underway for the next study trip.
